I have to tell you something: the man at home is not fond of dessert (yes this is right! You probably may have the feeling that I only cook desserts, don’t you? ;). So it means that I often have to eat dessert “leftovers” (life is hard, isn’t it?). But my Mister is in fact fond of one kind of dessert: chocolate cream desserts! So, some years ago, I scoured quite a lot of chocolate cream dessert recipes to find THE chocolate cream dessert, the one that will really please him. What a challenge! There were some failures but I finally got it ^^.
- 375ml milk
- 60g dark chocolate
- 50g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tbs of chocolate powder
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar (or 7,5g)
On a low heat, start by melting 100 ml of milk with the chocolate chunks until getting the chocolate well melted. Then add the extra milk and continue to heat everything on a low heat.
When the chocolate milk is ready, add it little by little to the mixture by whipping it thoroughly.
To make it easier (if you have two left hands as I have), pour the mixture into a container with a spout and fill 5 small glass jars.
COOKING
Bake the small jars in a double-boiler, in your oven preheated to 180°C, for 35 minutes.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
I advise you to eat those good cream desserts well cool!
I haven’t tasted them slightly warm but it’s probably worth it :)
If you have some whipping cream aside, a whipped cream goes pretty well with it ;)
See you soon guys!
