Yesterday evening, it was an improvisation for a great dessert! A glance in the fridge and in the cupboards: I’ve got whipped cream in a cream whipper, some chocolate cake, some stewed apples; I should manage to cook a good dessert :)
For this simple and generous dessert, you will need for 2 people:
- 3 small chocolate cakes already cooked
- 1 banana
- Some stewed apples (about 6 tablespoons)
- Some whipped cream
- Some chocolate powder
- 2 big glasses
Start by cutting the chocolate cakes into pieces. Reheat those 30 seconds in the microwave. Put 6 pieces aside.
Cut the banana into small pieces. Put 6 pieces aside.
Then in a glass, make layers this way:
- ¼ of the banana pieces
- 1 ½ tablespoon of stewed apples
- ¼ of the chocolate cakes
- ¼ of the banana pieces
- 1 ½ tablespoon of stewed apples
- ¼ of the chocolate cakes
- Pour a bit more stewed apples
- Complete with some whipped cream (as much as you want :)
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Finishing touch: sprinkle with some chocolate powder. Put the pieces of banana and cakes you put aside at the beginning on top of the dessert, and it’s done!
The stewed apples really bring some coolness to the dessert and the combination of chocolate and banana works as well as usually :)
