Here is a recipe that food bloggers must already know: “Outrageous Chocolate Cookies” from Martha Stewart. You can’t be indifferent to the small cracks of those delicious cookies! That would mean you’re not human ^^.
Once again, this is Laura who has motivated me to try this recipe! Thank you for your very cool blog which I always enjoy reading!
I will explain you the recipe for less than 20 cookies but you can divide by two the quantities, as I did:
- 400g chocolate
- 60g butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar (or 1 tsp pure vanilla extract)
- 155g light-brown sugar (or 170g if you use pure vanilla extract)
- 100g flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt (less if you have salted butter as I do)
Start by heating 200g of chocolate with the butter.
Then add the flour mixed with baking powder and salt. Mix again.
Finally, cut the 200g of chocolate left into big chunks and stir them into the dough.
Onto a baking sheet, make some small heaps and place them a good distance from each other.
COOKING
Bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes into your oven preheated to 180°C.
The cookies will be very soft just after the cooking. That’s ok, it’s actually one of the reasons they will be so good :D
With a spatula, transfer them gently onto a wire rack to cool completely. In the meantime you can enjoy the delicious smell which fills the kitchen ^^.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
My cookies “reduced” a bit when they cooled down. They are not as beautiful as Laura’s ones or Martha’s but they are still really good :D So soft in the middle and crunchy with the chocolate chunks.
As a snack with a hot drink, as a dessert with a tasty vanilla ice cream… yummy, I leave you, my delicious cookies are waiting :D
Rose.
